Diane has a BA in linguistics, a Masters in Education (both from the University of British Columbia and a certificate in Christian Studies from the Vancouver School of Theology. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, raised in Vancouver, BC, and attended school for three years in London, England.

  • She taught English as a Second Language for more than 30 years at the college level. She also taught French and geography in a private boys' school.
  • She also taught English in Hong Kong for four months.She has studied many languages, among them: Russian, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Hebrew, and Esperanto.
  • Diane also loves travelling, having visited about 20 of the states in the USA, all 10 Canadian provinces plus the Northwest Territories and Yukon, Mexico, Bermuda, most of western Europe and Russia, much of Great Britain, and most recently Greece and Israel.
  • Diane's main interests centre on her faith, family and friends.
  • She volunteers with elementary children and writes mainly for children.
  • Diane and her husband are professed Third Order Franciscans (Anglican).
